- PEN-NAME: Lillian Marie The Bostonian Lady PEN-DOB: November 19, 1884 (yes, I am an "old soul") PEN-PLACE: I live in another time/era, in a land far far away, where same-sex adults can hold hands, hug, kiss, dance and sleep together, share baths, send each other exotic flowers and write passionate poems... without any implication of homosexuality (Common reaction: Ha, ha. I cannot but say I dream of a similar world. There is nothing sexy in a Victoria secret magazine or in bare cheek bikinis, but in human emotion. Largely we are disconnected from accurately filling a hole in our souls with artificial emotion. Sex does not stand alone as a form of declaring love; it only takes away from what we truly desire
